I just wanted to take a moment to call out the new players who showed up at the table last night: Olivia, Kristina, and Hex (seriously, if ever someone was born to play a few rounds of Deadlands, its a kid named Hex!). We also had a brief visit by Patrick who couldn’t stay but hopefully we’ll see again.
We also had a visit from one of our older players, Olivia (yes, two Olivias). She’s neck deep in AP classes next year, but maybe we’ll see more of her over the summer.
So it was great to see so many faces, new and old. To all the regular players, thank you for being part of this program for so long. You are what makes this program special, not the game. Thank you for spending your Monday nights with us and letting us wander down endless pathways of imagination together. I hope you keep finding ways to surprise me.
A round of milk for everyone! ;)
Hey, did you know tomorrow was a make up game? Well now you do. So don’t miss out. It’s not like you have homework to do. Joe will be filling in for me the first half while I teach my daughter to not drown. BTW, remember to ask him about that funny looking ring on his finger.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, there will be no game tonight at the Lewisville Public Library. We are in the process of rescheduling and will let you know more when it happens.
Join us Monday, June 1, for Deadlands. 6:00 pm at the Lewisville Public Library.
Deadlands is reserved for teens, ages 12 to 17.
